Armored Trucks are returning to GTA Online, along with Armored Van robberies, according to a Rockstar Games newswire. "Later this summer, keep an eye out for new vehicles and dynamic events unfolding in Freemode with the return of Armored Van robberies," the newswire reads.
The upcoming update marks the return of a fan-favorite mechanic that was phased out of the game a while ago.

When Are Armored Trucks Coming Back To GTA Online?
Alongside the official announcement from Rockstar today, leakers found a folder full of files for the Armored Trucks in the files for the San Andreas Mercenaries update, suggesting that the vehicles might be coming to the game sooner than anyone expected.
The San Andreas Mercenaries update was released on 13th June 2023, but the Armored Trucks weren't included. With Rockstar stating that the feature is coming to the game "this summer," it's likely that players will be able to first find Armored Trucks as early as late June to as late as August.

Armored Trucks are definitely on their way back to GTA Online, but we can only speculate as to their exact release date, since Rockstar has only announced that they're on their way "this summer." It seems they're likely coming out very soon, given the recent release of the San Andreas Mercenaries update, so stay tuned for more information and specific details about the return of Armored Trucks to GTA Online in 2023.
