To obtain the Diablo 4 Ashava Barding mount armor, you'll need to defeat the world boss: Ashava the Pestilent. Having done this, there is a very small chance you will be rewarded with the "Reins of Ashava," an item drop that, when consumed, grants the Ashava Barding.
We must emphasize that the Reins of Ashava drop chance is probably less than 1%. In this regard, the drop is not guaranteed. As such, it's only natural that this mount has become so prized and highly sought after. In fact, it's known to be one of the rarest cosmetics in the game.
Another reason for the Diablo 4 Ashava Barding's coveted status is that there is only a 33.3% chance that Ashava will spawn during world boss raids in the first place. This is because the world boss spawns are randomized, meaning either Avarice the Gold Cursed or Wandering Death could be summoned in Ashava's place.
This is yet another barrier standing between you and the mount armor, as you will need to wait an additional 6 hours if Ashava is not the world boss that has spawned. This is in addition to hoping you are lucky enough to receive the Reins of Ashava item drop in Diablo 4.
