The best Sauron decks in Marvel Snap are those that play several cards with detrimental Ongoing abilities. Unfortunately, Sauron doesn't really see much play outside of this niche archetype. Even during the heyday of Shuri and Red Skull, the Sauron version of this archetype was considered to be several tiers below the most optimal version. That being said, Sauron does its job well in this deck.

Sauron is the name of the card, the name of the deck, and the name of the game! Players will want to fill their Sauron deck with as many cards as possible that have negative Ongoing abilities. The win condition is to simply overwhelm your opponent by playing huge cards that would normally be easy to take advantage of.
