Destiny 2 Season of the Deep has brought a handful of new weapons, including one new exotic called Centrifuse. It's an Arc Auto Rifle that works vaguely similar to the Ikelos SMG with Voltshot. However, if you still prefer using this new exotic, it's best to have its catalyst to make the weapon more effective. Here's how to get the catalyst for the Centrifuse Auto Rifle in Destiny 2.

How to Unlock the Catalyst for the Centrifuse Auto Rifle in Destiny 2
You can get the catalyst for the Centrifuse Auto Rifle by completing the catalyst quest Higher Voltage. It's a three-step quest that you can pick up from Banshee-44 in the Tower.
To finish the Higher Voltage quest, you have to complete the following objectives:
- Step 1: Rapidly defeat 20 targets
- Step 2: Defeat 40 targets with Arc final blows
- Step 3: Calibrate 200 data (generated by completing Strike playlists, Gambit, or Seasonal activities.)
- Step 4: Defeat targets with Centrifuse
- Step 5: Return to Banshee-44
The Centrifuse catalyst isn't game-changing, but it does add one more way to build up the energy for the Overcharge Capacitor. Once you equip the catalyst, the Overcharge Capacitor's energy meter will start to fill up even when the Amplified buff is active. It's in addition to sprinting, sliding, and shooting, which are other ways to activate this perk. In short, it's just a way to make this new exotic more efficient.
