Marvel Snap is one of the most fun and addictive mobile card battlers in recent memory. Winning the best mobile game of the year award at The Game Awards 2022 should be enough to tell you how incredibly polished Marvel Snap is as a product. From the easy-to-pick-up but hard-to-master gameplay to the stunning artwork for each individual cards, there is no doubt that Marvel Snap is going to be sticking around for a very long time.
As you might imagine, Marvel Snap has been marketed as primarily a mobile game. From the portrait layout to the short gameplay loop, everything about this title is tailored toward a mobile audience. However, if you're itching to play on console, here's everything you need to know.
Can You Play Marvel Snap On Console?
At the time of writing this, you can't play Marvel Snap on a console. It is possible to play the game on PC via the Steam client, and the developers have stated in their 2023 Marvel Snap Roadmap that they will be updating the UI in the future to allow for a widescreen view on a larger screen.
This does bode well for console support in the future, as updating the game's interface to be playable on a larger screen, alongside the mention of upcoming controller support, means that most of the necessary steps to port Marvel Snap to consoles will have already been completed.
The current PC client is in open beta, so if this proves to be successful, we will hopefully be receiving some kind of console support for PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in the near future. And that's everything thing you need to know!
