The GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries update features new missions for players to complete as well as a range of quality-of-life updates, but they aren't without their fair share of glitches and bugs. Arguably one of the most obnoxious bugs on the list is the one that causes the Draugur to get stuck in the Avenger during the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow Mission.

How To Fix GTA Online Draugur Stuck in Avenger Reporting for Duty Mission
Lots of GTA Online players are facing a bug where they cannot remove the Draugur from the Avenger vehicle during the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow Mission, causing them to be unable to complete the quest or move on.
Unfortunately, right now, there's no known fix for this bug aside from entirely restarting the mission. This is certainly a doozy since no one wants to repeat an entire mission just because the game isn't working the way it should.
Some players discussed the bug on San Andreas Mercenaries Bug Thread in the game's subreddit, with Reddit user Snoofoxes5206 asking, "Anyone else having a bug where you can't take the draugur out of the avenger in the first mission for Mercs?"
"Me. right now. It's stuck in Avenger and no way to complete the mission," Reddit user chadroman82 in the thread.
No users in the thread were able to identify or find a fix, so it seems like it's up to Rockstar to resolve this one unless players are able to find a temporary workaround.
If Rockstar Games fixes this bug, players should be able to avoid experiencing it in the future; for now, though, if Draugur happens to get stuck in the Avenger during the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow Mission in GTA Online, there's not a lot you can do.
