Then, you can browse the existing clans or create your own clan by following the instructions on the site. You can also invite other players to join your clan or accept invitations from other clans. Once you are in a clan, you can go back to Hawthorne in the game and see if the bug is fixed.
Bungie has not officially acknowledged or fixed this bug yet, so this workaround might be your best option for now. Hopefully, Bungie will address this issue soon and make sure that players can enjoy the game without any glitches.
