Riot Games has announced details about the updated Valorant Progression System that will be available starting from Episode 7 Act 1. It will allow you to unlock agents in a new way and earn rewards that you might have missed in the past. In addition to this, a new currency called Kingdom Credits will be introduced that you will be able to use to unlock a ton of rewards even if they were available in the premium battle pass tiers.
Here is everything you need to know about earning Kingdom Credits and how you can use them to unlock a ton of sprays, gun buddies, and more.
You will be able to collect Kingdom Credits starting from today with the release of Valorant Episode 7.
How To Earn Kingdom Credits And Unlock Rewards
Kingdom Credits will be a free currency in Valorant, unlike VP, and the only way to earn them is by playing matches in any mode, securing kills, and completing daily missions. After a match is over, you will get a certain number of Kingdom Credits (KC) along with XP.
In order to get the rewards from previous battle passes, you will have to go to the newly introduced Accessory Store section in the Store, and you will find four new rewards available every week that you can unlock by spending Kingdom Credits.
The price of each item will vary, and make sure to unlock your favorite rewards in time, as they might not come back again in the store. For everyone wondering, gun skins and melees are not expect to be a part of these rewards.
In addition to this, starting from Episode 7, there will be limited-time Agent Recruitment events in which the contract of the new agent will activate automatically, and you will have a limited time to unlock it. If you miss unlocking the new agent before its Agent Recruitment event ends, you will have to unlock it by using Kingdom Credits or VP.
In addition to this, you will also be able to directly unlock agent contract rewards by spending Kingdom Credits instead of having to level up all the way to the highest tier.
However, the most important thing to keep in mind is that there will be a maximum number of Kingdom Credits that you can collect at a time before you spend them. So, there will be no point of saving them for longer times.
