What Is Snapping In Marvel Snap?

Marvel Snap has taken the TCG world by storm thanks to its fun and addictive gameplay loop. Collecting and battling with your favorite Marvel characters has never been more fun. TCG veterans will be able to adapt to Marvel Snap's style of gameplay pretty easily, but something not found in any other card game is the integral "Snap" feature. Arguably, the Snap is what makes Marvel Snap so addictive and so stressful all at the same time!

However, if you are new to the game, the question becomes, "what is the Snap in Marvel Snap?" That's where we come in. This article will explain everything you need to know about the Snap in Marvel Snap, so you can start reenacting your deepest Thanos fantasies in-game as soon as possible!

What Is The Snap in Marvel Snap?

The Snap in Marvel Snap is a way for you to wager more cubes in a match. In every game in Marvel Snap, you will wager a set amount of cubes (one each). However, if you think you are going to win the game, you can tap the cube at the top of the screen to double the total cube wagered to four. If you are ahead in the game or confident that you will emerge victoriously, Snapping is a great way to speed up your progress.

However, your opponent also has the ability to snap whenever they feel like they are going to win as well. If both players snap, this puts the total number of cubes wagered to eight! If both players snap in a game, that is eight total cubes on the line for whoever wins. Snapping is such a fun and creative way to make games that much more exhilarating.

Choosing if or when to Snap introduces an entirely new level of mind games into the mix, and games can get very stressful as you wait for that final turn to end!

Snapping unlocks after you reach Collection Level 10. This way, you have time to get used to the Marvel Snap mechanics before potentially wagering your entire cube stash. If you love to gamble and bet on yourself, the Snap feature in Marvel Snap will definitely satisfy that need for a rush!
