There has been a new Call of Duty game released nearly every single year and, in some way shape or form, the series evolves with each release. Recently, it was announced that the next game in the series is called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. This particular title seems to be a direct sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022)
With that being said, players are excited to continue the story of Modern Warfare in Modern Warfare 3. But there are some concerns that players have. They want to know if the cosmetics they worked so hard to get will carry over into Modern Warfare 3. Here, we will tell you if your weapon blueprints from Modern Warfare 2 will carry forward into Modern Warfare 3.
If you are concerned about your weapon blueprints carrying over from one game to another, there's no need to panic. In an announcement made by Activision, they said that weapon blueprints will indeed carry forward from Modern Warfare 2 into Modern Warfare 3. So if you have a weapon blueprint you like using, you can use it in Modern Warfare 3.
From what we can tell, there are no real restrictions on which weapon blueprint will carry over into Modern Warfare 3. So long as that weapon exists in Modern Warfare 3, you will be able to use all of your unlocked blueprints in Modern Warfare 3. If the gun does not exist in Modern Warfare 3, then that weapon blueprint will not carry over.
From what we can tell from the Activision's recent announcement, the process of using your weapon blueprints from Modern Warfare 2 in Modern Warfare 3 is automatic. So long as you are using the same account, you should be able to use your Modern Warfare 2 Weapon Blueprints with ease. We will update this article if this ends up not being true.
However, you still need to unlock the weapons in Modern Warfare 3 to use your Modern Warfare 2 weapon blueprints. This will involve completing challenges, leveling up, and whatever other restrictions Activision decides to put in place. Other than that, you can use your old weapon blueprints from day one.
