Once upon a time, he managed to turn the Daily Star into a respectable gaming outlet trusted to be on the judges panel for The Game Awards and E3 Expo. You may also have seen his freelance work in magazines like Little White Lies, 360 Gamer, and ZOO Magazine. When he’s not playing as his Hunter in Destiny 2, or sneaking in a round of Marvel Snap, you’ll likely find him playing some sort of single-player PlayStation adventure like Horizon or God of War. He used to be obsessed with Pokemon GO, but then realised he had two kids to raise. He’s perpetually confused by gacha games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, but doesn’t mind trying something new if you drop him an email.

Alexandra Hobbs - Deputy Editor

Alex was a former Gaming and Esports Editor at DBLTAP and, after folding under the FanSided banner, took on additional editorial direction duties on AppTrigger and Forever Fortnite. You'll likely catch her lost in the middle of Tamriel in Elder Scrolls Online, or deep in a Final Fantasy playthrough. Alex also has a surprising skill for Fortnite Victory Royales though a slightly lesser mastery when it comes to Call of Duty, Warzone 2 and Apex Legends. She also has a strong love of indie games and is always excited to check out the new weird and wonderful gem.

Wessel Minnie - Senior Editor

Wessel is a former member of Bravado Gaming, a top South African esports organization, and a former editor at GLITCHED.online. He can also be found on HLTV discussing everything CS:GO esports. When he's not writing or editing, Wessel is not-so-patiently waiting for the release of Counter-Strike 2, pondering over the best Diablo 4 builds for each class, or venturing into the Lands Between of Elden Ring for the umpteenth time. Chadley Kemp - Senior Editor

Chadley, an editor at GINX, is a diverse writer and the Swiss Army knife of the team. With expertise in MOBA games like Dota 2 and League of Legends, survival titles including V Rising and Dead Island 2, and sandbox games like GTA Online and Roblox, there's no topic Chadley can't tackle. In addition to his love for all things esports- and crypto-related, he is also passionate about streaming entertainment, covering the hottest trending news and drama surrounding TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube personalities. Outside of gaming, Chadley has a Ph.D. in Physiology, with his writing extending to medical and even marketing copy. Rabia Sayal - Senior Staff

Rabia leads the coverage of her first love, VALORANT, and is also a die-hard fan of Genshin Impact’s lore and character designs, though she misses playing retro games like Mario, Roadrash, Need for Speed II, and a lot more. She is currently enjoying Honkai: Star Rail and is eagerly waiting for Minecraft The Wild update. You will also find her playing Fireboy and Watergirl when she is feeling pretty lazy and wants to play It Takes Two once again sometime soon. Cole Podany - Full Time Writer

Cole is a Staff Writer at GINX Esports TV based in the United States. He's a lover of all things horror and particularly loves old horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Ashleigh Klein - Full Time Writer

Ashleigh was a former Features Intern at Glamour South Africa and previously worked as a Multimedia Journalist at IOL News and the Weekend Argus before reigniting her love for video games.

She now works full-time with GINX and can often be found exploring the worlds of Conan Exiles, Elder Scrolls Online, and Elden Ring while trying to reach Infinite rank in Marvel Snap. Whilst she’s not that great at farming in Stardew Valley (she tries), Ashleigh more than makes up for it by being a good Blastoise trainer in Pokemon GO.

Shane Moosa - Full Time Writer

Shane started his career as a freelance writer for Gamezo while working full-time as a software developer. You can often find Shane trying his hand at no-hit runs of Souls Games such as Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3 (and being quite unsuccessful). To relax, Shane will often boot up sessions of Overwatch 2 or Hunt: Showdown, but his interests are spread across various games, from AAA titles (He loved the Dead Space Remake and RE4 Remake) to indies such as Hollow Knight, Celeste, and Hades. Daniel is a former freelancer for CBR.com and Game Rant where he wrote on a variety of different topics. Daniel also freelanced with Esportz Network where he primarily focused on Smash Ultimate news esports news. He even worked with Stream.TV where he focused on streaming products. Before Daniel became obsessed with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, he was trying his best to rank up past Diamond in TFT.
