Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Patch Notes V25.30: All New Changes & Features

The Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration is now live until August 25, 2023. 

Break the Curse! Quests:

Completing Break the Curse! Quests will earn you Cursed Energy. The more Cursed Energy you earn, the more in-game rewards you’ll unlock.The free reward track contains 11 unlockable rewards, including the Shadow Play: Toad Emote as the final reward.

Premium Reward Track:

Purchase the Premium Reward Track upgrade for extra rewards, including the Yuji Itadori Outfit. If you purchase the Premium Reward Track upgrade, you’ll unlock extra rewards as you unlock rewards in the free reward track.

The Premium Reward Track upgrade is purchasable for 1,000 V-Bucks and contains 11 unlockable rewards. Upon purchasing the Premium Reward Track upgrade, you’ll automatically receive the Streetwear Yuji Itadori Outfit 

Cursed Techniques:

Cursed Llamas are roaming on the Island — break one and it’ll drop two cursed techniques: Straw Doll Technique and Hollow Technique: Purple. 

Jujutsu Kaisen Cup:

Taking place on August 11, the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup is a Duos Zero Build tournament where you can compete to be among the top point-earning players in your region. Players stand to earn the Good Boy Kon Emoticon, Gojo's Eye Emoticon, and the Yuji's Training Spray.

Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki & Satoru Gojo:

• Three new Outfits are available in the Item Shop

Competitive Notes:

• Cursed Llamas, Straw Doll Technique, and Hollow Technique: Purple are not included in tournaments (with the exception of the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup).

Major Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where players may have experienced reduced render distance since v25.20.

• Fixed an issue where players may have been visually presented their Ranked Battle Royale rank even after switching to Ranked Zero Build.

New Weapons:

• Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun

Added as part of the Futurama collaboration, Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun can be found as ground loot, or purchased from Bender on the island for Gold Bars.

• Mammoth Pistol

A large-caliber, single-shot pistol that uses heavy ammo. The Mammoth Pistol can be found from the ground, Chests, Holo-Chests, or a flying drone. 

Unvaulted Weapons

• Lever Action Shotgun

This unvaulted weapon can be found from the ground, regular and Rare Chests, Holo-Chests, a flying drone, or claiming a POI.

New Reality Augments

• Pistol Recycle Reality Augment - Your Pistol shots will have a chance to cost 0 ammo.
• Scoped Salvo Reality Augment - Your scoped weapons have increased damage (but a decreased fire rate). 

Unvaulted Reality Augments

• Desperate Reload Reality Augment - Your Pistols will reload faster when reloaded with an empty clip. 

Flare Gun Note

• When the Firework Flare Gun was vaulted at the end of Summer Escape, the regular Flare Gun stayed vaulted. The Flare Gun remains vaulted in v25.20.

Competitive Notes

• Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun is not included in tournaments.

New Weapons:

• Explosive Repeater Rifle

Explosive Repeater Rifle can be found from the ground, regular and Rare Chests, Holo-Chests, and for sale for Bars from Nia.

New Reality Augments:

• Heavy Headshots - Your weapons using heavy ammo will have increased headshot damage. 
• Heavy Ammo Acquired - Instantly gain heavy ammo, then gain more when you open containers. 

Competitive Notes:

• Wildguard Relik, Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets, and Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle from v25.10 are now included in tournaments.

Major Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue preventing Victory Crowns from appearing in players’ inventories (which also prevented Victory Crowns from being dropped from players’ inventories).

New Items:

• Cloak Gauntlets
• Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets (Mythic)

Cloak Gauntlets allow players to blend in with surroundings, and can be obtained from the ground and Chests. Players will be covered in Kinetic Ore for a limited time before the gauntlets enter a cooldown. Item has unlimited charges.

New Weapons:

• Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle (Mythic)

New Boss:

Wildguard Relik - drops Wildguard Relik's Cloak Gauntlets and Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle on defeat.

Unvaulted Items:

• Flare Gun
• Shockwave Grenade (Zero Build only)

New Reality Augments:

• Mud Warrior - While in mud or covered in it, you’ll regenerate Health and Shield. 
• SMG Extended Mag - Your SMGs will have increased magazine size. 

Unvaulted Reality Augments:

• Tracker's Armory - Activate this Reality Augment to get a Flare Gun and Shadow Tracker instantly. 

Miscellaneous Updates:

• Chickens and Sky Jellies have been vaulted.

• The population of wolves and that of boars have been reduced.

• The frequency of fishing spots has been reduced.

Ranked Season Zero:

• Ranks have been reset as part of the v25.10 update.

Chapter 4 Season 3’s Super Level Styles:

• Super Level Styles are now available. Featuring the Wildscorch, Confetti Claw, and Regal Hunter Styles for the Mariposa, Rian, Lorenzo, Relik, and Trace Outfits. 

Competitive Notes:

• Wildguard Relik, Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets, and Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle are currently not included in tournaments.
