Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall This Week (8 August 2023): Rotation, Rewards, Power Level

Destiny 2 offers a multitude of PvE activities for players to pursue after finishing seasonal and expansion story content. The three-player Strikes are arguably one of the most popular activities of them all.

Nightfall Strikes are the more challenging variants of the regular strikes, featuring more hard-hitting enemies like bosses and champions. Like other PvE activities in Destiny 2, Nightfall Strikes also have difficulty tiers. They range from Adept, Hero, Legend, Master, and Grandmaster. 

The Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes is the pinnacle three-player PvE activity in Destiny 2 that drops Ascendant Shards and Adept weapons alongside other valuable loot. In every Destiny season, six Strikes are available to pursue at Grandmaster difficulty. Here are the Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes rotations and rewards for Destiny 2 Season of the Deep.

Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall This Week

The Grandmaster Nightfall in Destiny 2 this week is 'PsiOps Battleground - Moon' and will reward players with BrayTech Osprey Rocket Launcher (Adept).

As a reminder, this Grandmaster Nightfall will only be available for one week, from the release of the Weekly Reset on August 8 until the conclusion of the next Destiny 2 Weekly Reset on August 15.

Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall Power Level Requirements In Season 21

If you’re considering running a Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall you'll need to be aware of just how difficult it is and make sure you're at the recommended power level to have any hope of surviving.

Below you'll find the recommended power level for the Grandmaster Nightfall in Season 21, as well as the enemy power level you'll be facing:

• Recommended Power Level - 1815
• Enemies Power Level - 1840

Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall Rotation Schedule In Season of The Deep

In Season of Defiance, Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes will be available at the weekly reset on 13th June 2023 at 5 PM UTC / 10 AM PT / 1 PM EDT.

Aside from the weapons featured above, completing Nightfall Strikes at Grandmaster difficulty will reward players with an Ascendant Shard. These can be used to purchase Exotic gear from the Monuments to Lost Lights and masterwork armor. Players may also get a high-stat piece of Exotic Armor they already own.
